While heading south on the Great Ocean Road, Victoria, we stopped in the town of Lorne. When we were walking through the local caravan park we spied one of the biggest motor homes we have seen yet. We always love checking out other people's set up's, it give's us idea's for our own van. We couldn't help but strike up a conversation with the couple and their dog.
Noel, Bev and Midge the dog had just pulled in to Lorne and were about to explore the town when we met them. It was so great to chat with these seasoned grey nomads. They really have lived an amzing life, it was so inspiring to hear their stories. They have lived on a boat with their two children, sailing around the world for 6 years, travelled to 48 countries and lived in their current motor home for 3 years, exploring Australia.
They also currently run an online business, a broker company that promotes, provides profiles and sells businesses. What amazing achievements, they have definitely lived a full life and there's no stopping them, they both still have lots of fun things to do on their bucket list, which includes Bev's dream to sky dive.
It is so much fun meeting people on the road and talking about how rewarding a life of adventure can be. We learnt a lot from our chat with Noel and Bev, thanks for the free camping tips and must see towns to visit.
Thanks for taking the time to chat with us Bev and Noel, we wish you all the best with your adventures.
