After flying into LAX, we got our camper van rental sorted and headed to watch the skateboarders at Venice Beach. A display of style, enthusiasm and grace was evident as the local and traveling skaters put on a show. With a huge amount of respect and support we sat, watched, took pictures and cheered on their tricks. The time and years of practice is clear as they glide around the park with ease. Satisfied and in awe we set off for a long drive to do some exploring in Joshua Tree National Park.

Two weeks of Vanlife, exploring the South East coast of Australia. Our adventure took us from Sydney to Lorne, along the way we visited some amazing places like Phillip Island, Wilsons Promontory, Melbourne, Jervis Bay, Coldedale and Eden. We had so much fun discovering towns, trying out cafe's and their local produce, going for runs to discover places you never would by car and meeting the coolest people from all walks of life. Truly unforgettable.
Driving along Grand Pacific Drive is a must. It connects Stanwell Park to Coledale to Thirroul. The road will take you on the Seacliff Bridge, which is set away from the cliffs over the ocean. Seacliff Bridge has a path that makes it safe for you to walk, bike ride or skate across. The towns are set at the base of a beautiful mountain range and are right on the beach, a magical place only a 2 hours away from Sydney.
One of our favourite weekend get aways, Coledale, NSW, Australia has a great path that runs around the headland and down along the beach. It is the perfect place for an afternoon skate, bike ride or walk. It's such a great way to exercise and have fun!
