Seasonal Garden Cafe in Hahndorf South Australia was a special treat to visit. The inside is warm, cosy and welcoming, with beautiful staff who love a good chat. The creative talent behind this Cafe is Silvia Hart, who took the time to tell us about her business and the exciting work she is doing with organic food in the local community and around Australia. Silvia is passionate about minimising food wastage and sharing that message to others. 

The Seasonal Garden Cafe is just that, a cafe that serves meals made up of local produce that is in season. Their food is sourced from local producers, farmers and growers markets. The Cafe's menu changes frequently, according to what is available and in season. By the end of the week they will have an open plate night where you pay $10 per meal and let the chef create you something special. It is a way for the Cafe to use foods which may have gone to waste. It's this type of thinking that makes a difference.
