Driving across The Nullarbor Plain was an experience we won't forget. There's nothing too hard about it, but the endless driving does take it's toll. Our suggestion, download lots of podcasts and audio books because no matter how much you love music, there's only so much you can listen to before you need something a little more stimulating. We really got into TED talks and Steve Jobs autobiography. We would say the journey really begins at Ceduna, South Australia and lasts until you reach Esprence, Western Australia so thats about 1500 kilometres of driving. If you have the luxury of spreading this over a few days and are able to stop at the Great Australian Bight, play some golf, see the stars at their best and even watch the whales, it can be a great experience. The Nullarbor Plain truly is a beautifully rugged place, with some of the biggest wedge tail eagles we have ever seen and the most glorious sunsets. We came away from this experience with some awesome memories.
