What an amazing adventure! We have been away for a month exploring the South East coast of Australia. From Noosa, QLD to Batemans Bay, NSW and everywhere in between. We discovered some beautiful places we had never been and visited some of our favourites. It is so nice to be home to see our family and friends but the open road continues to call our names. Once you get a taste of how amazing vanlife is, it is hard resist. We love that you can park your van next to a beautiful river for an afternoon fish or wake up to beach front views. We love parking in the bush and opening your door in the morning, straight into nature. We love meeting new people to swap secret camp spots with and share a milo.
One of the best things about this road trip was only paying for two nights accommodation, while staying at Riverwood Downs. Australia has so many amazing free campgrounds and rest stops, they may not have all the bells and whistles but they are beautiful and usually set on a lake, beach or in the beautiful Australian bush. Traveling this way allows you to save money and travel for longer, it is nice to have the option to save a few bucks. Free camping = Framping
Our next adventure is in the works. In a couple of weeks we are off to Melbourne. We will pick up where we left off at Batemans Bay and continue South. We can’t wait to share our adventures with you. Home is where you park it!!
